Overnight Oats

 

I am excited to share a recipe with you that has immediately become a hit in my house. The biggest thrill for me is that it takes just a few minutes to prepare in the evening, and then breakfast is ready before anyone even wakes up…brilliant! We all love oatmeal, but not needing the time to cook it–or stand over the pot stirring–in the morning is a lifesaver…enjoy!

  • 1 c. almond milk (unsweetened is best)
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 2 tbsp. almond butter
  • 
2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. oats
  • 1/4 c. chia seeds
a dash of salt

Combine all of the ingredients in a glass bowl
Refrigerate for 8 hours
Serve with berries and pumpkin seeds or slivered almonds
Serves 2–Enjoy!
